Rick Ross Reaches A Plea Deal In Felony Kidnapping & Assault Case

The 2015 case of Rick Ross and his manager Nadrian James allegedly pistol whipping former employees Leo Caceres and Zamudio has been looming over the Maybach Music CEO for a year and a half now. Now it seems like this chapter of Ross’s career will finally be put to rest. Tuesday April 4th Rick Ross entered a Fayette County courtroom facing kidnapping, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and other charges for allegedly holding a groundskeeper on his estate at gunpoint, forcing him into a guesthouse.

Rick Ross pled no contest to 1 felony count of aggravated assault while his other felony charges were dropped. Ross was ordered to pay a $10,000 fine and since he’s a one time felony offender once this $10,000 is paid this conviction will be erased from his record.

Ross pled no contest to 5 misdemeanors including; assault, battery, 2 counts of pointing a pistol at someone, and possession of marijuana (less than one ounce). For the 5 misdemeanors Ross will serve 60 months of probation that will not restrict his traveling. Here is a statement that Rick Ross made speaking on the results of the trial.
