J.Cole’s Song ‘KOD’ Breaks A Spotify Streaming Record With 4.2 Million Streams In A Day

J. Cole’s KOD dropped Friday. The first song on the album, “KOD,” seems to be a huge hit with fans, despite the push “ATM” has received with a music video and a placement on ESPN’s NBA Playoffs commercials. Chart Data points out, “KOD” has received the most love and it’s broken a U.S. Spotify record previously held by Taylor Swift.

Last year, Taylor Swift set the record for the biggest opening day on Spotify in the U.S. with 3.8 million streams of “Look What You Made Me Do,” but now J. Cole has reportedly surpassed that record by approximately half a million.
