Ashanti’s Stony Brook University Performance Has Been Cancel After School Was Only Able To Sell 24 Tickets

Ashanti was scheduled to perform at Stony Brook University’s ‘Back to the Brook’ concert, but after only selling 24 tickets to a population of 2500 students the school was forced to cancel the event.

Teyana Taylor was originally scheduled to headline the show, but she pulled out at the last minute due to ‘unforeseen circumstances.’

Ashanti just recently appeared on Lil Wayne’s highly enticipated number 1 album “Tha Carter V” and just this Summer was in talks of releasing a joint project with long time Murder Inc label mate Ja-Rule.

Here is the letter from Stony Brook University making their students aware that the event had been cancelled.
