Washington D.C. Graf artist, director and icon Disco Dan has died. Born Danny Hogg, the local D.C. legend made his mark running the city with his classic tag that found way on the walls and the hearts throughout the Metro area. Filmmaker Roger Gastman, who with Hogg co-directed the documentary “The Legend of Disco Dan”, announced the tragic news via Instagram that the ubiquitous tag artist passed on Wednesday due to complications with diabetes. He was 48.

Cool Disco Dan, thank you for living.
