Drake has moved on from his 2024 rap feud with Kendrick Lamar. However, he has not stopped beefing with rapper-turned-podcaster Joe Budden. And one of Budden’s podcast co-hosts has just become a casualty of war.
Melyssa Ford Expresses Her Disgust With Drake
Drake released his new album “$exy $ongs 4 U” on Valentine’s Day. And he just revealed the merch for the album. It is apparel that features former video vixen, Melyssa Ford who is currently one of the cohosts of the Joe Budden Podcast. After seeing the merch, Ford went scorched earth on Drizzy.
“What the f**k is going on?! Where’s my check? Where’s my f*****g check? That’s what the fuck I want to know,” she said of Drake’s new merch. “I woke up to it. And I’m just like, ‘I have bigger fish to fry than this shit.’”
Drake reignited his beef with Budden on a track entitled “Gimme a Hug,” off of his new album. The Six God appeared to take shots at Budden while praising Ford.
“Melyssa Ford, you a legend from the 6ix, hate to see you with a d**k-sucker,” he raps on the track.
After the track was released, Ford said that being mentioned in the song in which Drake referenced her as a Toronto legend was “awesome.”
“I’m still processing,” she said. “I’m just still processing. […] I mean, it’s great. It’s awesome. I mean, it’s not the first time, though. It’s not even the second, it’s not even the third. But thank you. I don’t know what he is trying to do, I am not in that man’s mind, I do not know. I will let you guys opine on that.”
However, Budden expressed that he has no interest in beefing with his frenemy at this time.
“Drake, don’t shoot at me now that you’re ice cold. I’m not doing a back-and-forth with a corpse. I wanted to do it when you was lit. It was fun,” Budden said.
