Fat Joe Explains Being Treated Unfairly & Asked To Leave Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse Because Of Dress Code

Fat Joe and his guest were dining at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Greensboro, North Carolina when they were asked to leave due to their attire.

The manager claimed a member of Fat Joe’s entourage was wearing track pants, which is a violation of the dress code, which the rapper claims was “discrimination and prejudiced.”

In an interview with TMZ Joe explained the whole situation, including the surprise when he found out the manager was black

“I seen a guy walk in in a FedEx uniform, he had shorts on, I seen a guy with slippers walk in, a guy with a tank top with tattoos, we seen at least 10 different people walk in there… that didn’t meet their dress code,” Fat Joe said.

According to a representative for Ruth’s Chris Steak House, they attempted to accommodate Fat Joe but the rapper refused.

“They were offered a private dining room in order to solve the issue and give them privacy, but chose not to eat there,” a source claimed.

Fat Joe took the offer of having he and his guest being asked to sit in the back as an insult. So Joe and his guest left the restaurant.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House claimed they loved Fat Joe’s business in spite of the dust-up.

“We love having Fat Joe dine with us. He’s visited before, and we look forward to welcoming him again,” a representative for Ruth’s Chris Steak House said in a statement.
