Jay Z Says That Meek Mill’s Jail Sentence Is Unjust & Heavy Handed

As Meek Mill received two to four years in jail earlier today for violating probation there have been many reactions in the Hip-Hop community. One of Hip-Hop’s biggest voices in Jay Z has spoken out about Meek’s sentence in which he calls unjust and heavy handed.

Jay Z also speaks to his willingness to stand by Meek Mill as he fights this. Jay Z post to his Facebook Fan Page “The sentence handed down by the Judge — against the recommendation of the Assistant District Attorney and Probation Officer — is unjust and heavy handed. We will always stand by and support Meek Mill, both as he attempts to right this wrongful sentence and then in returning to his musical career.”
