Last week, an explosive report added more fuel to the fire. In the case of one of Jane Doe’s dismissed complaints against Bad Boy Records founder Sean “Diddy” Combs and Roc Nation founder Sean “Jay-Z” Carter. The complaint was initially only against Diddy, but was amended to include Carter.
Jay-Z Accuser Hits Back After Audio Leak
Last week, ABC News shared an old audio clip of Doe proclaiming Jay-Z’s innocence. To two private investigators hired by the music mogul. However, Jane Doe, says that the audio recording isn’t as incriminating as it seems.
In a statement to TMZ, Doe tells the outlet that in her conversation with Jay-Z’s two private investigators she was never “calm, natural, or at ease” and “trembled the entire time we spoke”.
In the audio, one of the private investigators asks Doe if she concurred that Jay-Z “didn’t have anything to do with any sexual acts towards” her and that “he was just there, but he didn’t have anything to do with any sexual acts towards” her. She agreed.
However, she says that that entire portion of the audio recording was fabricated.
“I never stated (whether once or 4 times) that Mr. Carter did not assault me,” she added.
In the controversial clip, she also admits that her controversial attorney Tony Buzbee “pushed” her .to amend her complaint. And add Jay-Z to the suit.
But Buzbee has come out to verify that that is also not true, calling the statement “a blatant lie.”
“As far as the suggestion that I pushed Jane Doe to bring a case against Jay Z – That is a blatant lie that is directly contrary to all the documentary evidence,” he said in a statement.
With the two sides now in a full-fledged war against each other, it will be interesting to see which side comes out victorious.
