Rap star Ye, formerly known as Kanye West has been on a social media rampage in 2025. He has done everything from calling out the mother of his children, Kim Kardashian to publicly berating Beyonce and Jay-Z’s kids Sir and Rumi. But rap star Jim Jones says Ye’s tough guy act is a facade.
Jim Jones Says Kanye Ducked Fair One
The Dipset member also was the subject of one of Kanye’s social media posts. Amid their dispute, Jones says that West approached him about settling their differences with a one-on-one fight. But after Jim accepted West’s invitation, the Grammy winner quickly retracted his statement.
“But we had our own back and forth. N***a said he wanted to shoot the fair one with me I said, ‘Cool. I’m flying out to LA tomorrow,” Jones said during the May 2 episode of Way Up With Angela Yee.
He also added: “[I said]We can shoot the 31.’ That’s terms where I’m from where we fight for 31 seconds. I’ll kick your a** for 31 seconds, [then] I’ll hug you and then I fly back. He said – I got it on text – he said, ‘No I was just venting. We don’t have to do that.’ He had said, ‘I will fight you! I know it’s not the best I will fight you.’”
Jones has tried to settle more than one beef with a fair one this year. Amid his beef with Diplomats leader Cam’ron, he went on Power 105.1’s, The Breakfast Club and offered to fight Cam. His asking price is $10 million.

“You getting money right? Are you doing sports? $10 million right now. Today n***a. I’ll catch a flight wherever you at. Are you with Mayweather and all of them? $10 million, I’ll meet you in any boxing ring. Now go make some jokes about that on your next show. I’ll box your head off, you know that. Don’t play with me.”
