Kanye West & Wife Kim Kardashian Working With President Trump To Free A$AP Rocky From Swedish Jail

According to a report TMZ Kanye West & Kim Kardashian are currently in talks with President Trump and the White House to help expedite Rocky’s release from a Swedish jail. TMZ’s sources say that ‘Ye is the one who encouraged his wife to reach out to the White House when they heard about the Harlem rapper’s case earlier this month.

Kim reportedly called Trump’s senior advisor, Jared Kushner, who then spoke to his father-in-law Trump about Rocky’s situation in Sweden. Apparently, the president believes Rocky has been treated unfairly and wants to help.

This report seems to indicate that the U.S. State Department is now invested in freeing Rocky. TMZ also reports that Swedish officials are not cracking under the pressure. Despite the overwhelming support Rocky has received back home and online, sources suspect that Sweden’s government may delay their decision on Rocky’s case thus resulting in more jail time.

News of Kanye and Kim’s purported efforts to free Rocky surfaces one day after the U.S. Congressional Black Caucus, a group that includes Andre Carson and Hakeem Jeffries. Rep. Adriano Espaillat and more held a press conference where they urged Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to free Rocky from jail.
