Rap star Megan Thee Stallion is one of the performers for the 2025 Coachella Festival. During the second weekend of the festival, the “Traumazine” artist took time to clear the air about some things. Most notably about where things stand with fellow Houston rapper, Slim Thug.
Megan Thee Stallion Responds to Slim Thug
Earlier this month, Slim Thug had hinted that he believed Megan had a crush on him. And of course, his comments went viral. Before playing one of the Houston rapper’s songs during her set on April 20, Megan said confidently that was not the case.
“And no, Slim Thug, this doesn’t mean I want you. I just like your music, babe,” she said.
Slim Thug’s comments came to the surface after Megan performed two of his songs, Still Tippin and Thug From Around The Way during her Coachella set on April 19. He suggested that the way that Megan was dancing to his music suggested that she had a crush on him.
“Did y’all see Thee Stallion dancing to ‘Thug From Around The Way’ and ‘Still Tippin’? If that ain’t an ‘I want you daddy’ call, I don’t know what is,” he said of Meg’s performance.
“So I’m just waiting on my day, kid. I’m just waiting for her to come to Houston and hit my line like, ‘Hey I’m in the town! Pick me up!’ It’s only a matter of time at this point,” he added.
He also clarified that it was not just Megan’s Coachella performance that made him feel this way. He noted that he had known that she had a crush on him since the first time she brought him out on stage in Houston.
“She brought me out in Houston. I know she had a crush on me by this point. She danced to two of my songs!” he said.
