Post Malone Says That It’s A Struggle Being A White Rapper

In recent interview with GQ Post Malone is ask about his journey as a white rapper. Although Post Malone’s records get love from Hip-Hop radio and Hip-Hop DJ Post Malone does not want to be known as a rapper. Yet Malone acknowledges the struggles there are being a white rapper. 

Post Malone tells GQ Magazine;

“I definitely feel like there’s a struggle being a white rapper. But I don’t want to be a rapper. I just want to be a person that makes music,” he says. “I make music that I like and I think that kicks ass, that I think the people who fuck with me as a person and as an artist will like.”
