Prodigy Mural Pops Up In Queensbridge

The shocking news of Prodigy of Mobb Deep’s death sent shock waves through the Hip-Hop world. Out of a labor of love artist Jeff Henriquez along with his fellow painter Eli Lazare (who painted a mural of Nas) give Prodigy a mural.

The mural is located on the side of nonprofit Urban Upbound’s building at 13th Street and 40th Avenue. Prodigy may have been born in Hempstead but Queensbridge was in his blood and in his sound as an emcee. Now anyone passing through Queensbridge will see his likeness. Checkout the work.
