The Landlord And Artist Reached An Agreement & The Biggie Mural Will NOT Be Removed

Hip-Hop stepped in and won a victory for the late great Notorious B.I.G. The outcry from media and social media helped the building landlord Samuel Berkowitz realize how important Biggie is to Brooklyn. According to PIX 11 New York one of the mural’s artist Naoufal “Rocko” Alaoui of Spread Art NYC praised Berowitz saying “He is such a nice and giving person. We want everyone to thank him for keeping the Biggie mural. He didn’t realize who Biggie was and how important Biggie is to Brooklyn.”

The news outlet said that Berowitz did not immediately return their request for comment on the situation. Long live Biggie Smalls.
