Wale Says Being Dark Skin Hurt His Rap Career

Wale held a Q&A on Twitter with his fans and when asked about Wale’s career in relation to his peers Wale makes it clear that he feels like his skin color has held him back from his success in the rap game.

Saying “It hurt me greatly . Also me being a dark skinned (not half white) rapper direct decent from Africa did too .. but let’s not go there “.

Wale also tells fans that he is going back to school because he is currently unemployed and Hollywood says that he doesn’t have enough social media followers.

Reading Wale’s statements you can’t help but think he is talking about the success of Drake, J.Cole, & Logic. We will see what comes of this.
