Young Thug made his first public appearance as a free man while linking up with fellow Atlanta native T.I. on Monday night.
TI, real name Tip Harris, shared the moment on Instagram after posting a short clip of himself and son, Domani, in the studio as they chopped it up with Thugger.
“Yeahhhhh YKWTFGO The Kings have Reconvened #KingJeffrey #KingSr,” TI wrote in his caption. “Guess I’m officially outta retirement For tonight #Welcomehome.”
Young Thug returned home last week after accepting a non-negotiable plea deal in the YSL RICO trial. He pleaded guilty in Georgia to several counts, including possession of drugs and firearms, in exchange for 15 years of probation.

TI was apart of a wave of celebrities that took to social media to celebrate in the wake of Thug’s release. Frequent collaborator Travis Scott took to his Instagram Stories to write that his “bruddda otw home” with a series of brown hearts. Similarly, Metro Boomin shared a series of photos of Thug to his Stories.
The singer received the news of her beaux’s release during her opening slot in Brooklyn on Latto’s Sugar Honey Iced Tea Tour. While on stage she burst into tears and offered thanks to fans who “kept showing up and supporting” her through the difficult time.
Mariah later expressed just how grateful she was that it was all over, saying, “This is more than what we prayed for.” She went on to thank her team and the judge presiding over the case for the “opportunity to move forward with our life.”
