No more Draco for DeAndre Cortez Way. Soulja Boy was given a second chance taking a plea deal in his felony gun case. Soulja was facing jail time for felony possession of an assault weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm after cops found firearms at his home in December of 2016. Soulja Boy’s Social media accounts were flooded with him flashing guns and money which led to police being able to have probable cause to search his dwellings.
Under the deal his plea deal Soulja received 5 years probation and 240 days of community service. He’s not allowed to threaten anyone or possess any deadly weapons, or a replica including toy guns.
He is allowed to travel as long as it’s for work and it’s cleared first.
