Terrible news for Kevin Gates fans, Kevin Gates has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for a gun charge from 2013. Gates was just about to be released for serving 6 months for kicking a female fan in the chest at one of his shows. Upton release authorities found a gun charge on Gates in Chicago. Gates missed court dates from this charge so he was transferred to Cook County to await trial. Gates was denied bail and on April 26th he was sentenced to 30 months in prison. Gates plead guilty to gun possession and because he is a convicted felon his sentencing was a bit harsh.
