Young Thug dropped his highly anticipated album, UY Scuti, on Friday (September 26). His first project since being released from federal custody in October 2024.

21 Savage Calls Out Critics of Young Thug, YFN Lucci Collaboration

The YSL founder stepped hard for his fourth studio album. It featured a star-studded lineup of artists, including Sexxyy Red, Cardi B, and Travis Scott. But the biggest surprise on the album was Whaddup Jesus, a song that features Thugger’s longtime rival YFN Lucci.

With the rappers being bitter rivals in the past, many fans were perplexed to see the rap artists on a song together. Many noted how many people were actually harmed as a result of their beef, and with their new union, it was seemingly all for nothing.

But rap star 21 Savage hit back at Young Thug and Lucci’s critics. Noting that they should mind the business that pays them.

“Y’all want n***as to beef forever then say they ain’t appreciate they blessings if they get locked up for it. Shut y’all bi***h ass up,” he wrote in the comments section of the post.

However, when fans in the comments section caught wind of 21 Savages comments, all it made them do was double down on their criticism.

“Go y’all separate ways. Doing music together when people died for y’all is nuts. Now y’all are all making money together. Give that money to the families or the people in jail behind y’all nonsense,” one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“N****a f**k him, he’s the one that said gotta pick a side because there’s blood behind it,” another user added.

“Not beef forever, but to be making songs together is weird! Idgaf how they try to spin it,” another person said.

Another user referred to Young Thug as a hypocrite because of the fact that he mended fences with Lucci but has been reluctant to do the same with Gunna, who entered a plea deal in the YSL RICO trial.
