It seems baby fever has hit a certain rap couple, but it may not be from the person you’d think. Over the weekend, 21 Savage revealed his true feelings on continuing his family with Latto.
What Did 21 Savage Say?
On his Instagram story, 21 Savage posted the video shoot from Latto and Doja Cat’s music video for “Okayyy,” celebrating the mother of his child. In his caption, he posted a desire to continue the family.
“Can we have another 1 pleaseeeeeeeee ,” seemingly referring to having a second child with her.
Savage and Latto have been linked together for a few years now, but chose to keep their relationship out of the public eye. In an interview with Paper, Latto explained her decision.
Latto recently addressed her decision to keep her relationship private during an interview with Paper Magazine earlier this year. And she made it clear that she doesn’t have anything to prove to anybody.
“I have nothing to prove to anyone. I have no rumor to clear up,” she said. “I’ve been with my man for years now, and it ain’t going nowhere. To me, that’s clearly a result of me moving and operating how I do. When it comes to female rappers, female artists — we’re told that we have to put so much of our life out there, and then it becomes too much about our personal life and not enough of the music. That’s how stuff just ends up crashing and burning, because you’ve got too many cooks in the kitchen. I’m my own person outside of my relationship as well. I don’t want to make that the forefront of my existence, my career. I got a man at home, I’m happy, and I’m well taken care of, and that’s about all anyone needs to know.”
21 Savage and Latto later confirmed he was the father of her child after appearing at their baby shower, and showing love to his boo on Instagram. He posted her album on his main page.
