Another Big Bank interview with an Atlanta-based artist has taken over the internet. And this time it’s 21 Savage who is at the center of attention.
21 Savage Speaks Out About Drake, Kendrick Lamar Beef
During his interview with Big Bank, the topic of beef was discussed—specifically, the 2024 rap feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. When speaking of the explosive beef, 21 said that he advised Drake not to entertain a feud with K. Dot. Not because he didn’t think that he could compete artistically. But, no matter what happened, Drake would not be declared the winner simply because he was already positioned at the top.
“When you’re the number one n***a, where does winning put you? You can’t go number 1.1,” the rap star said.
He also noted that the battle was “rigged” in favor of Kendrick Lamar. Because even if Drake had emerged as the winner, the industry would have painted him as the “bad guy.”
“This s**t rigged man,” 21 Savage added. “Even if Drake won, he would’ve been the bad guy for winning. M*****f*ckers wanted Drake to lose anyway.”

Some fans on social media appeared to agree with the rap star’s stance.
“Drake was told he was losing because of Kendrick’s silence. Remember that we all saw then give Kendrick a W for being silent,” one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
However, other fans had a different opinion.
“Drake was never truly number one because Kendrick was there too. It was his opportunity to prove to the world that he was better, and he lost. It’s as simple as that,” another user added.
“Lol, the excuses for this n****a are crazy. Nobody called him the bad guy when he beat Meek. Grown ass n*****s still acting like this over him losing a beef is bananas,” a third user chimed in.
21 Savage’s new album, What Happened to The Streets, is available now.
