DMX’s Attorney Plays The Judge Some DMX Songs To Help Him Out Of His Tax Evasion Case Where X Is Faces Up To 5 Years

According to NY Times, court documents, which went public revealing that part of DMX’s legal team’s strategy is to play the judge some DMX songs in his tax evasion case. Attorney Murray Richman in a court documents said that he wants to play a few DMX compositions a the sentencing in Manhattan for DMX.

Richman says the music will help U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff understand DMX in his genuine voice since DMX may currently be to emotional to speak.

DMX has been incarcerated since his bail was revoked in January by Judge Rakoff who scolded X for failing to obey bail conditions.

DMX’s attorney says that X appreciated the time in jail and is currently sober and invigorated. “It was a salvation of sort to shut out the noise” Richman says. Richman sent Judge Rakoff the lyrics to “Sippin” and “The Convo” to try to get the judge to understand his client.

Richman suggested a unique resolution, including an up to a 60 day study of DMX by qualified consultants rather than prison. The study may help DMX be deemed rehabilitated and enable him to return to stage so that he can earn the money to pay back the $1.7 million that he owes in taxes and he will be out and able to support his 15 kids.

Hopefully X’s attorney’s strategy works.
