Director Jon Favreau announces via Twitter that Donald Glover will be playing Simba in The Lion King remake. Favreau also announces that James Earl Jones will be playing Mufasa. Glover has been going non-stop with the acting and music over the past year or so with his award winning television series “Atlanta”, critically acclaimed album “Awaken My Love”, new role in “Star Wars”, and now Simba in “The Lion King” remake.
