Hip-hop has a tendency to get violent sometimes. So naturally, some of the top emcees have tried their hand in the wrestling ring. Here are four times hip-hop and pro wrestling collided.

Bad Bunny Wrestles in His Hometown

Bad Bunny was one of the pioneers in getting rappers into the wrestling ring. He made his debut in the ring at WWE’s Royal Rumble in 2021. The global icon even had a one-on-one match in his hometown of Puerto Rico against former WWE Heavyweight Champion Damien Priest.

Since making his debut in 2021, he has become a major fixture. Being featured on merchandise and video games in addition to competing in the ring.

Travis Scott Aids John Cena in Making Wrestling History

Travis Scott was one of the guests at WWE’s Wrestlemania in April 2025. He got involved in the WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and John Cena. Right as Rhodes appeared to have the wrestling match won, Scott pulled the referee out of the ring to prevent him from counting out Cena. Rhodes was noticeably upset by this, so he invited Travis into the ring for a fight.

Rhodes ultimately hit Scott with his “Cross Rhodes” finisher and laid him out in the ring. But that brief distraction was all Cena needed to capitalize. Because when Cody turned his attention back to Cena he was met with a low blow and a shot to the head with his title. Cena sealed the victory and won the title from Cody Rhodes. It was his 17th title victory which gave him the most wins in WWE history — making Cena the undisputed GOAT.

Snoop Dogg Saves Wrestlemania

Snoop Dogg is another rap star who has become a fixture in the WWE. He produced the theme song for former WWE Star Sasha Banks, who is also his cousin. But he also has competed in the ring.

He is most known for saving the day at Wrestlemania 39. Snoop Dogg escorted Shane McMahon out to the ring for a segment with The Miz. Shane blew out his knee during the segment when he and The Miz came to blows. However, thanks to Snoop’s quick thinking the show went on. He performed an impromptu attack on The Miz that went viral, which distracted viewers from Shane’s injury.

MGK Gets Powerbombed

Machine Gun Kelly was a guest on WWE’s flagship program, Monday Night Raw when it invaded his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio in 2015. Although MGK was only scheduled to perform that night, he did get a first-hand experience of what it was like to go face-to-face with a WWE superstar. He was attacked by former WWE champion, Kevin Owens during his Monday Night Raw appearance, as he was powerbombed off the stage. He was also featured as a playable character in the WWE 2K22 video game.
