Hosted by Jadakiss, the podcast will take listeners back to a time before global fame, focusing on Earl Simmons as a young, fiercely talented artist navigating the streets of Yonkers, New York. The series aims to chronicle DMX’s formative years—his hunger, his battles, and the experiences that shaped his raw, unmistakable voice.
Throughout the first season, family members, childhood friends, collaborators, rivals, and cultural figures will offer intimate, firsthand accounts of DMX’s journey before superstardom. By centering the story on the man behind the legend, Look Thru My Eyes: Becoming DMX promises a deeper, more personal look at one of hip-hop’s most powerful and influential figures.
