50 Cent was introduced to the world as a fiery rapper who had no issue making enemies on his way to the top. But his most recent works are in the film industry.
50 Cent Announces TV Network Expansion
50 Cent has produced several hit shows on the Starz network. Such as Power, Force, and Raising Kanan. As well as a show based on the Black Mafia Family (BMF) drug empire.
With him making such an imprint in the film industry through the film industry, the rap star seems to officially be ready for his solo act to become just as big.
In a new interview with Deadline, the Get Rich or Die Tryin artist revealed that his 50 Cent Action network is set for an expansion in the United Kingdom.
“You know, everybody loves London. If you’re from New York, or you’re a recording artist from America in general, the first stop and your first dose of international love is London,” he said to the outlet.
He added: “My audience, my core audience – the people that were enjoying my music in the very beginning – is at home. They’re older. They’ll understand the entertainment choices that I make creatively. I’ve used music to merge with entertainment.
Being able to launch out here [in the UK] is big because I have a huge audience here that hasn’t been able to participate with us. Now they get a chance to see it.”
50 Cent also recently announced that he will be producing a new series titled Mogul. The upcoming project will be based on the “rise and fall” of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“Inspired by the rise and fall of Sean P Diddy Combs. F**k it. I gotta make some money off this s**t. Coming soon! This ain’t empire,” the rap star said in an Instagram post on June 6.
