50 Cent finally delivered some new music after months of clamoring from fans. On Thursday (March 5), 50 Cent debuted a new collaboration with R&B star Leon Thomas.
The name of the track is No One Told Us What We’re Here For. And it will serve as the theme song for 50 Cent’s new stars series, Power Origins, the prequel series in the Power Universe that explores the origin stories of characters Ghost and Tommy.
50 Cent Appears to Clap Back at T.I. on New Song
Despite the new track having a soulful beat, the lyrics are pretty hardcore. And I noticed some interesting lyrics from the Power creator. Many felt may have been directed toward the rap artist, T.I.
“I’m back on my dope boy grammar, your daddy made your mama eat every box in Atlanta / Freak sh*t, peep sh*t, keep sh*t, on the low, but everybody know,” he raps on the track (Via HotNewHipHop/X).

50 Cent and T.I. have had an ongoing beef that has ruled the headlines for most of 2026. What started with friendly jabs over a potential Verzuz matchup between the two artists turned ugly quickly. With 50 Cent taking shots at T.I.’s wife Tiny, which ultimately led to his sons Damani and King inserting themselves into the middle of the feud. And taking shots at 50 Cent’s late mother, Sabrina Jackson, who died in a housefire when he was just a child.
At the time of writing, T.I. has not responded to the lyrics in 50 Cent’s new song. But he has been fully dedicated to this feud, so a response is likely on the way. So stay tuned for more updates.
