The trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs has been in the headlines. And many believe this to be the most divided case since the high-profile O.J. Simpson trial. But rap star 50 Cent believes that some of the support that Diddy has received has not exactly been authentic.
50 Cent: Diddy Supporters Outside Courthouse Are Paid Actors
Combs’ supporters have been seen outside of the New York City courthouse where his trial is being held. Some are even going as far as to sport “Free Diddy” shirts in support of the famed music mogul. But in a May 18 social media post, 50 Cent says that those same supporters are paid actors. He also says they are receiving a wage of $20 per hour.
“Diddy paying people to wear Free Diddy shirts is diabolical, but $20 a hour ain’t bad. I might go throw that on for an hour tomorrow. LOL,” the rap star wrote in a post on his Instagram account.
50 Cent is one of Diddy’s biggest rivals. And he hasn’t exactly been shy about vocalizing his issues. In speaking about Diddy’s parties, 50 Cent said the “uncomfortable energy” surrounding the events has led him to steer clear.

The rapper also revealed that it was an altercation in the early 2000s that was the catalyst of his disdain for Combs.
“He asked to take me shopping. So I thought that was the weirdest s— in the world because that might be something that a man says to a woman,” the rapper added.
“And so I’m just like, ‘Naw, I’m not f—ing with this weird energy or weird s—,’ coming off the way he was just moving. From that, I wasn’t comfortable around him.”
