50 Cent Continues To Troll Rick Ross About Low Album Sales: “It’s Over Officer”

Videos by According2HipHop

50 Cent has not taken too kindly to Rick Ross slandering him for having a baby with Daphne Joy, who’s Diddy sextape leaked. Now, with Ross’ new album Set In Stone, projected to tank, Fif is trolling in glee at Ross’ misfortune.

What Did 50 Cent Say About Rick Ross?

On Instagram, 50 Cent started by announcing to the world that despite reports of Rick Ross’ album topping the ITunes Hip Hop/R&B charts, his sales were poor.

“I just saw your record sales LOL 2,000 WTF,” 50 Cent posted.

Then, Fif posted another haymaker at Ross, using an influencer’s video explaining how Ross is trying to cope with his poor numbers as a set up to his scathing caption.

“Yo [ninja] had 20 features and it didn’t help,” 50 Cent posted. “Alright now pack it up it’s over officer. Get ya bum juice and ya wings and get the f*** up outta here. LOL.”

in his next post, he kept clowning.

“So when your tickets don’t sell and your album don’t sell what do ya do?” 50 Cent asked rhetorically. “Promote car a shows and sell chicken wings LOL.”

Fans got in on the Ross slaughter, dropping jokes at his expense.

@50cent has more likes on this post in under 20 minutes than Ross has album sales in 6 days,” one user posted.

“Going triple plastic is crazy lol Ross selling more wings than albums,” another user posted.

“He actually gon get some more streams cause of this post add charity work to ur resume u helping buddy LOL,” another user posted.

How Bad Is Rick Ross’ Album Doing?

Ross’ opening streaming numbers hit around 1.4M Spotify streams on release day. While Millions of streams seems like a good number, in an album sense, it’s a poor performance. 1.4M streams is the equivalent of a little over 1,300 albums sold. Apparently, that number hasn’t grown much since, with Fif claiming Ross has only hit enough streams for the equivalent of 2,000 albums.

Dive deeper into the album, and things are looking grim. Yesterday, we reported that most songs on the album, aside from the singles, struggled to get over 200,000 streams. In fact, some songs bricked even harder, as both his collaboration with Young Breed and DJ Nasty “Do It One Time,” and more damningly, his connect with Yung Miami, who’s hot off her hit single “Spend Dat,” on the track “She’s My Star,” haven’t even crossed the hundred thousand mark.

Today, not much has changed as both these songs still haven’t breached 100K and the opening track only gained 40,000 streams.

Billboard will have the official results next week, but currently, chart watchers are predicting Ross will not sell more than 25,000 copies, which is even lower than his last album in 2021, Richer Than I Ever Been, which sold 30,000 copies its first week.

Funny enough, 50 Cent trolled him back then about the album too.
