50 Cent Believes He Can Continue Thriving in The Film Industry
The film creator recently hosted a premiere of his new STARZ series Fightland. He was asked by the Associated Press what drives him to keep thriving in the film industry. Despite already having a highly successful music career. He responded by saying that he believes there is plenty of room for him to thrive in the film and television industry. He saluted mentors like Tyler Perry and Will Packer for embracing him with open arms.
“It’s a big gap as far as diversity is concerned. So there’s plenty of room [for me],” he said in a clip caught by 2Cool2Blog on X. “I’ve been embraced with open arms by Tyler Perry and other talented producers. Will Packer and a few guys that really get busy. It’s exciting to be able to do different things creatively; it’s exciting.”

50 Cent, seemingly out of nowhere, has become one of the biggest tastemakers in the film industry. His hit series Power has opened the doors for him to produce an assortment of spinoffs throughout the year.
The rap star is preparing to release his newest show, Fightland, later this month. And he is already making bold predictions about the forthcoming project. He recently said that Fightland is going to be better than his hit Starz series, Power.
