50 Cent has some questions regarding the recent allegations against actor Will Smith. The Bel Air creator recently found himself in hot water. After violinist Brian King Joseph filed a lawsuit against him and his management company, Treyball Studios Management, Inc. The filing includes accusations of sexual harassment, predatory behavior, wrongful termination, and retaliation.
50 Cent Weighs in On Will Smith Lawsuit
The lawsuit has caused quite a stir in the entertainment industry. And 50 Cent was among the celebs to weigh in following the filing. In a new social media post, the Power Creator expressed his disappointment about the news. Especially because he says he has him in mind for a role in his upcoming film.
“WTF is going on, I got a movie I want will for, this fool just mad he got fired,” he captioned his Instagram post on Wednesday (January 1).
Shortly before submitting the filing, Joseph posted a video on his social media account. He revealed that he was supposed to be appearing on a “major tour with somebody huge in the industry.” He went on to reveal that “some things happened” that resulted in him being nixed from the tour.
“I can’t get too into the details of exactly what that was because it’s already a legal issue right now, but the reason why I’m speaking out about this is because getting fired or getting blamed or shamed or threatened or anything like that simply for reporting sexual misconduct or safety threats at work is not okay,” Joseph said in the video posted to his social media account.
“I know that there’s a lot of other people out there who have been afraid to speak out, and I understand, and if that’s you, I see you,” he added. “And that’s pretty much it. More updates to come soon. Thanks for listening.”
At the time of writing, Will Smith has not responded to Joseph’s lawsuit.
