50 Cent wants to make it clear that his beef is with Big Meech and Lil Meech. But outside of that, he has no issues with Black Mafia Family (BMF) as an entity.
50 Cent Reignites Beef With Big Meech
On Monday (January 5), the Power creator previewed a new BMF documentary that is set to debut on the Starz network. The difference between this documentary and past documentaries is that this one will tell the story of Meech’s brother and BMF co-founder, Terry Flenory, also known as Southwest Tee.
As for 50 Cent’s relationship with the other Flenory brother, tensions appeared to rise when Big Meech posted a picture on social media with 50’s long-time nemesis, Rick Ross. Since then, the southside rap star has accused Meech of snitching to get less prison time. Citing that as the reason, he was released from prison in December 2024.
Ahead of the documentary’s debut, 50 Cent used the forthcoming film to reignite his beef with Big Meech.
“T like my name still good, I don’t know what bro was doing with old girl. BMF JAN 16 executive producer Curtis 50cent Jackson,” 50 wrote in a social media post on Monday.
Fans in the comments section were excited about another 50 Cent film production on the way.
“I see 50 Cent, I hit like, no question asked because it’s gonna be good,” one fan wrote on Instagram.
“Okay, let me sign back up for Starz,” a second user added.
“Mannnnnnn GOAT,” a third user chimed in.
As a result of his beef with Big Meech, 50 Cent got the BMF miniseries cancelled from the Starz network. Despite putting up impressive ratings numbers in its first two seasons. To add insult to injury, Meech’s son, Lil Meech, starred in the series, playing a younger version of his father. It remains unclear where things stand with the Flenory brothers presently. But working with one of his brother’s enemies paints an interesting picture, to say the least.
