50 Cent is shutting down rumors that he had any involvement in the recently dismissed paternity lawsuit against Jay-Z.
Earlier this week, rumors started swirling after a YouTube channel—known for spinning up celebrity “truths” and conspiracy theories—alleged that the G-Unit mogul personally reached out to 31-year-old Rymir Satterthwaite and even offered up his legal team to help in his paternity case against Hov.
But 50 hopped on Instagram and quickly set the record straight: **“Yo I never met this kid and I’m not helping him with anything. Keep my name out of this sh\*t please.”**
The viral claims surfaced just days after Rymir filed a motion to voluntarily dismiss his federal lawsuit against Jay-Z in the Central District of California.
Rymir has spent most of his adult life claiming that Jay-Z had a relationship with his mother back in the ’90s, which he says led to his conception. But despite filing multiple lawsuits over the years—trying to force a paternity test—none of them have ever stuck. Courts have consistently dismissed the cases due to jurisdiction issues or lack of evidence.
The latest suit, filed in May 2025, was met with a swift motion to dismiss from Jay-Z’s legal team, who called the situation a “decades-long campaign of harassment.” They also reiterated that the matter was already handled legally years ago.
Known for his trolling antics and online commentary, the G-Unit boss rarely backs away from a bit of chaos—but this time, he made it clear he wants no smoke.
So despite the clickbait, 50 Cent’s message is simple: leave him out of it.
