The downfall of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been marveling to witness. For those who may be tardy to the party, the Bad Boy Records founder is currently on trial. For his role in a sex trafficking ring that spanned for more than two decades. And amid his federal trial, many of Diddy’s enemies are also trying to capitalize on his downfall.
50 Cent to Produce Series Based on Diddy’s Downfall
50 Cent is no stranger to having issues in the rap industry. He has a long-standing beef with the currently incarcerated rap Mogul. Even amid Combs’ legal trouble, 50 has continued to go scorched earth on the Bad Boy Founder. Mostly on social media.
As 50 has transitioned from music to the film industry, he recently announced that he will be producing a new series titled Mogul. The upcoming project with be based on the “rise and fall” of Diddy.
“Inspired by the rise and fall of Sean P Diddy Combs. F**k it. I gotta make some money off this s**t. Coming soon! This ain’t empire,” the rap star said in an Instagram post on June 6.
50 Cent has produced several hit shows on the Starz network such as Power, Force, and Raising Kanan. But as usual that venture has not come without controversy. 50 also produced a show based on the Black Mafia Family (BMF) drug empire.
However, tensions appeared to rise after the head of the empire Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, was released from prison in December 2024. Meech posted a picture on social media with 50’s long-time nemesis, Rick Ross. Since then, the Southside rap star has accused Meech of snitching to get less prison time.
50 Cent has also vowed to produce a doc that would reveal that Meech was released from prison in exchange for his role as a federal informant.
