During an interview on Making Money with Charles Payne, boxing legend Floyd Mayweather called Donald Trump “the best president” the United States has ever seen.
“Trump has done an amazing job and a lot of people around America are upset,” Mayweather told the FOX Business correspondents. “But no matter who goes in the White House, we’re always upset. I think Trump is the man for the job. He’s the best president in my eyes.”
50 Cent clowned the former pro boxing star for his fondness over the current administration on Instagram this week.
“LOL YO you know how, when you’re in school and a kid eats the crayons,” the rapper captioned his repost of Mayweather’s news clip. “Now you see what happens when they grow up. spell BEST PRESIDENT champ! LOL.”
50 Cent Has History of Backing Trump as President as Well
Meanwhile, 50 himself has flirted with supporting Trump, despite clowning Mayweather over his praise for the president.
At one point in 2020, he seemed to be pulling for Trump’s re-election, though he was later said to have thrown his support behind Biden instead, telling fans at the time, “F**k Donald Trump. I never liked him.”
He would later call Trump “the answer” after criticizing New York mayor Eric Adams’ handling of the city with regards to immigration.
