It is no secret that one-time rap star 50 Cent has had an ongoing beef with Diddy. So obviously amid Combs’ federal trafficking trial, 50 has become a topic of discussion.
50 Cent’s Baby Momma Says He Hired Diddy’s Ex For Inside Scoop
The origin on 50 Cent’s issues with the music mogul remains murky. But one thing is for certain. 50 Cent’s attacks on Diddy, and his attempts to tarnish his image have known no bounds.
How far was the former rap star willing to go to ensure that Diddy’s dirt got brought to the light? According to one of 50 Cent’s baby mommas, Shaniqua Tompkins, he took things too far. In a video via LiveBitez Tompkins says that the rap star at one point hired Misa Hylton, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, who he also shares a child with. In an attempt to get more information on the now disgraced music mogul.
This was all part of a ploy to block Combs from signing Ma$e, who was one of the hottest artists out at the time.
Mase Gets Honest About Diddy
Mase has also been pretty vocal about the case surrounding Diddy. On a March episode of the It Is What It Is podcast, Mase mentioned that he was asked if he would ever consider rekindling his relationship with Diddy. And surprisingly the former rap star seemed open to the idea of reconnecting with the Bad Boy Records founder.
“I mean, if my name was on the list, I’d go visit Puff,” he said. “I would visit him, make sure he was good. These are the times when you need people to check up and make sure you’re good.
However, the talk show host made sure to clarify. Adding that just because he is open to having a conversation with Diddy he still does not condone his actions. He also noted that he did not want to be one of the people who piled on unnecessarily. Because of the help he extended to him during his music career.
“Not that I condone anything that he allegedly did. Until they prove it, you want to make sure that you don’t be like one of those people that [condemns] somebody [who] did good for you. He didn’t do all bad, he did some good. He definitely did some good,” Mase added.
