Rap artist Tekashi 6ix9ine wasted no time getting back on stream following his recent release from prison.
6ix9ine Predicts Gucci Mane Will Be Forced to Testify
The rap star appeared on stream with Neon over the holiday weekend. And one of the things that he addressed was the ongoing legal drama with his artist Pooh Shiesty. And he gave some interesting insight on why Gucci Mane may have to testify against him in his upcoming federal case.
“Gucci Mane, whether he’s telling or his cameraman is telling you know what they are going to do. They are going to subpoena Gucci Mane,” 6ix9ine explained, as caught by MyMixtapez. “Once the feds subpoena you, you have to [tell]. You have to. If not, you go to jail for obstruction of justice. You have to [tell], it’s a subpoena by the federal government. This is literally how the feds work.
Pooh Shiesty was arrested last week over his alleged involvement in a January 2026 armed robbery in Dallas, Texas.
The feds allege that Shiesty organized a group of nine men to confront rap star Gucci Mane. Gucci believed that he was having a business meeting with Pooh. However, when he arrived at Gucci’s studio in Dallas, Shiesty and his co-conspirators held the rapper at gunpoint. They forced him to sign paperwork releasing the FDO creator from his record deal with his label, 1017 Brick Squad.
Paperwork surfaced alleging that Gucci Mane helped the feds identify Shiesty and rap artist Big 30 during their investigation. Other reports suggested that it was the cameraman, who was also a victim of the ambush, who chose to cooperate.
However, 6ix9ine appears to believe that no matter who it was that helped the feds identify the rappers, Gucci Mane will have to testify in the criminal trial.
If convicted, Pooh Shiesty could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
