6ix9ine is facing another wave of turmoil after his Florida home was reportedly invaded by four armed men on Sunday night (Nov. 16), with his 60-year-old mother allegedly held against her will during the frightening incident.
According to TMZ, the masked gunmen stormed the residence while Tekashi was away streaming with Jack Doherty. The intruders were reportedly searching for cash and the rapper’s car keys. During the chaos, 6ix9ine’s mother was forced outside and held there as the suspects ransacked the interior of the home.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded to what was described as a home invasion robbery in progress, but by the time officers arrived, the suspects had already fled. No arrests have yet been made. Reports that attempts to reach the sheriff’s office for more details are still pending.
The break-in comes at a tense moment for the controversial rapper, who is preparing to face his own legal issues later this week. Prosecutors are pushing for 6ix9ine to receive up to nine months in prison following multiple parole violations over the past year. Since being released from federal prison in April 2020, Tekashi has violated his supervised release terms three times in just 13 months—testing positive for meth, pleading guilty to cocaine and MDMA possession, and assaulting a man in a Florida mall.
6ix9ine is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 20, just days after this latest incident added another layer of chaos to his already turbulent life.
