After a two-year hiatus from solo releases, the Detroit native Big Sean has returned with a new single titled “Precision.” The track, which dropped on March 22nd, 2024, serves as the opening salvo for a new era for Sean.
Over a bass-heavy beat which samples Willie Hutch’s “Theme of the Mack” which was previously leveraged by Three Six Mafia on “Poppin My Collar” , Sean raps with a renewed sense of urgency and focus. Bars like “I studied the target/ I’m never gonna miss it/ I call that precision” showcase Sean’s signature confidence and ability.
After an initial listen, “Precision” harks back to the energy of classic Sean tracks like “Control” and “Blessings”
