50 Cent Reignites Beef With Floyd Mayweather
50 Cent took the opportunity to exact revenge on Floyd poking fun at his reading ability.
“See what happens when you can read champ? The s**t just matters,” he said in a recent Instagram post.
50’s joke stems from an incident when Mayweather appeared on The Breakfast Club and read drops for them. During the reading, Floyd stumbled on several words which led to a lot of backlash on social media. With a large chunk of it coming from 50 Cent.
During the viral ALS ice bucket challenge, 50 even offered to donate $50,000 to a charity of Floyd’s choosing if he read one page out of a Harry Potter book publicly.
The irony of all of this is that Floyd recently came under fire for his political comments. In a recent interview, the former boxing champ showed his support for the recently elected President, Donald Trump. Mayweather said he believes that President Trump is the best president that the United States has ever had.
“When we had Trump before, we didn’t appreciate him. But I think Trump is a great president, one of the — actually he’s the best president. In my eyes, he’s the best president we ever had,” he said on the Fox Business show Making Money with Charles Payne.
“Great business, great businessman, and that’s what it’s about. Trump has done an amazing job and a lot of people around America are upset. But no matter who goes into the White House, we’re always upset. I think Trump is the man for the job. He’s the best president in my eyes.”
