Travis Scott Hints at “Jackboys 2” Release Date
In a new social media post the Astroworld creator wishes a happy birthday to his mother, Wanda Webster. In the same post, he said that he let his mom hear the new project. And she encouraged him to drop the project on his birthday.
“EVERYONE WISH THE BIGGEST GOAT A HAPPY BDAY THE QUEEN OF DIS HERE. MI MOMMMMMMMAAAAAAA. LOVE YA MOOMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAA. PS I PLAYED HERE JACKBOYS 2 SHE SAID DROP ON YOUR BDAY BABY JACK. !!!!!” he wrote in a recent Instagram post.
As many members of the Cactus Jack hive know, Scott’s birthday is coming up this week (April 30). So a new project could very well be on the horizon.
His last project, Utopia, was released in 2023.
However, Travis has not been sitting by idly. He has been active in several other ventures. Most notably, his participation in the WWE. Travis was a major factor at Wrestlemania in April where he helped John Cena capture his 17th WWE championship after interfering in his match with Cody Rhodes.
Although he has become a recent fixture with the company, he still has yet to compete in an actual WWE ring. But that could all change soon.
According to a recent social media post by pro wrestling insider Cory Hays, there is a plan for Scott to compete with Cena in a tag team match. However, he did also add that also that is the plan there is “nothing concrete,” about the plan at this moment.
“I’ve been informed that there is a pitch for John Cena and Travis Scott to work a tag team match together at some point this year. Nothing concrete as of right now,” Hayes wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter on April 24.
