On May 13, TMZ released an explosive story that DDG’s baby momma, Halle Bailey, had slapped him with a restraining order.
Halle Bailey Slaps DDG With Restraining Order
The Little Mermaid star alleges that she has been a victim of domestic abuse at the hands of the popular streamer.
“Halle Bailey says she’s had enough of DDG allegedly abusing her. She’s filed a police report, and now she wants court-ordered protection from the father of her child,” the outlet writes.
One particular incident that stuck out in the report came shortly after their breakup in October 2024. When DDG came to Halle’s house to pick up their son, Halo.
As DDG tried to strap Halo into his car seat, Halle wanted to discuss a visitation schedule for their son. DDG reportedly became enraged. And after seeing his temper flare, Halle tried to stop DDG from taking Halo, fearful for his safety.
Halle Says That She Was Victim of Domestic Violence
After Halle tried to stop him, he screamed “get out of my car b***h” and when she refused, she and DDG got into a physical altercation.
During that altercation, DDG pulled the Color Purplestsr’s hair, resulting in her slamming her head on the steering wheel and chipping her tooth. She also received several bruises on her arm as a result of the incident.
Still, even after that altercation, Halle decided to move forward without pressing charges.
The final straw came last Mother’s Day weekend. Halle, Halo, and her sister Chloe Bailey took a vacation for the weekend. However, blogs began to insinuate that the actress was actually with R&B singer Brent Faiyaz.
DDG once again became enraged and confronted Halle about it through text messages.
Halle replied, “Not with any man out here. I wouldn’t do that, I have halo … please let me enjoy my mother’s day in peace. I hope you are okay and feel better soon.”
The restraining order requires DDG to stay 100 yards
away from Halle. A judge has also granted the actress permission to take Halo to Italy for two months while she is filming a movie.
DDG is also required to stop posting and streaming about Halle and Halo.
