The explosive trial involving music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is entering its latter stages. The Bad Boy Records founder is accused of running a sex trafficking ring for more than two decades.
Suge Knight Predicts Diddy Will Snitch on Stand
With Combs facing a life sentence, and a mountain of evidence against him, many believe that the Making The Band creator could take the stand before it’s all said and done. If that does happen, one of Diddy’s most bitter rivals, Suge Knight expects him to snitch on many of his long-time cohorts.
“He might be stupid sometimes, but he’s not dumb. If they allow Puffy to humanize himself, it’ll be the best thing for the culture of Hip Hop. It’ll be one of the biggest power moves of the US,” Knight said in an interview with former Bad Boy artist Aubrey O’Day
“Cut the deal first. Get a situation where wherever you say on the stand, they use it against you. When you get on that stand, fix Hip Hop, fix the culture of our people.”
During a recent interview with NewsNation, Knight said that President Donald Trump will pardon Diddy even if he is convicted.
“I think he’s got some favors with the government. I think they’re gonna show him a little leeway,” Suge said about Diddy. “It might not seem like it when it’s all said and done. But I don’t think he has anything to worry about. And I don’t think he’s worried because he’s gonna be federal, and if he gets convicted, Trump’s gonna pardon him.”
The Death Row Records founder also added: “I still feel that Puffy is going to be alright and have a fair shot at it. He’s not a dummy. And I’m quite sure somebody is going to talk to those jurors. And convince one or two of them that’s all you need, is one.”
