Lil Nas X, the hitmaker behind songs such as Old Town Road and Montero, has once again become the subject of controversy.
Lil Nas X Hospitalized For “Possible Overdose” In Los Angeles
TMZ obtained exclusive video of the Grammy award winner roaming the streets of Los Angeles in the wee hours of the morning. And in the video, he is sporting nothing but his tidy whiteys and some cowboy boots.
They also added that residents in the neighborhood called the local police to report a man walking down the street in his underwear. And when he was approached by the cops, he “charged” at them.
According to the outlet, cops subdued and handcuffed Lil Nas X. After the fact, he was hospitalized for what cops told paramedics was a “possible overdose.”
However, he could still face charges for the incident. But as of now, he is still being treated at a local hospital.

Reps for the music star have yet to respond to the incident.
However, fans on social media had a lot to say.
“Something tells me this is PR… but if not, I hope he’s alright,” one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Lil Nas X is really living life on the edge, huh?” another user added.
This is not Lil Nas X’s first rodeo when it comes to making the headlines.
Back in 2024, he caught major heat for his song J. Christ. The music video depicts him in the imagery of Jesus Christ being crucified and lifted up on the cross by several people.
The music star has been the subject of controversy before. But he admitted that the backlash he received from the song and accompanying music video had begun to take a toll on his mental health.
“This is not to try to get everybody on my good side or whatnot. This is more so to clear my head about my own decisions. I know I messed up really bad this time,” he said in the clip. “And I can act unbothered all I want, but it’s definitely taking a mental toll on me.”
