Young Thug’s recorded phone conversations continue to be leaked. And in one of the more recent leaks, he has a lot to say about Drake.
Young Thug Blasts Drake For Not Trying To Get Him Released
In the recorded phone call, Thugger blasts Drizzy for not making more of an effort to get him out of prison. Suggesting that he could have pushed President Donald Trump
“Drake, you Drake, go talk to the president,” he says during the conversation.
He also rips Drake for being more focused on his music than his freedom.
“‘Aye, man, let my little brother out. Pardon him, do something.’ Go talk to the president and get me out, show me that,” he added. “Don’t call me talking about, ‘Fix something’ for you to have a song from a n-gga. Man, ain’t nobody give a fuck about no song.”

That wasn’t the only thing that Thugger criticized about Drake during the phone conversation. He also took issue with Drake reaching out to producer Metro Boomin about a song shortly after the super producer’s mother was killed by her boyfriend. And how he had such a lack of compassion during Metro’s time of bereavement.
He also appeared to suggest that it was what led to him and Metro beefing in 2024.
“I don’t understand how anybody could approach him about music right now,” Thug says in the leaked phone call.
“It ain’t even nothin’ I can think to say. Even if I be like ‘Bro, you know, it’s really just about supporting me, bruh, and just trying to get us out and just get us back with y’all,’ but it’s like, your momma’s dead.”
He also calls Drake “stupid” for approaching Metro during that time.
“Drake so stupid, he probably just sent some stupid condolences […] instead of giving the ni**a some wisdom or something real, you probably said some crazy stuff on the phone,” he added.
