DJ Akademiks Says Drake Tried to Fly Out Summer Walker
Drake has been romantically linked to some of the biggest acts in the music industry. Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and SZA are just a few of the artists that he has been previously linked to. According to hip-hop influencer DJ Akademiks, Drake at one point tried to add another big name to his already star-studded roster. That being R&B star Summer Walker.
According to DJ Akademiks, Drake at one point was showing little to no interest in dating Summer Walker. But after getting word that another artist was trying to holler at her, he tried to fly her out.
“I know somebody right now. I’ll just mention it, hopefully Drake ain’t listening. They said they told Drake about Summer Walker, and they said all of a sudden, Drake was trying to fly Summer Walker out… but they’re looking at him now like, ‘Damn, you’re that horny,'” Akademiks said during a recent Twitch stream.
Akademiks went on to say that when it comes to today’s rappers, a lot of the problems that they run into are based on women. Because women are what ultimately gets them in their feelings. And he also added that women know what tactics to use to get what they want.
“The majority of issues that n****s run into are over women, always,” Akademiks added. “Also, women know how to play their role. And, they know how to get to you. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen rappers who– essentially, the conversation becomes, ‘You tried to get at my girl. That’s disrespecting me.’ I’m not gonna lie to you. A lot of Drake’s issues involve some of that.”
Drake has not yet responded to Akademiks’ claims
