Dr. Dre is widely regarded in the hip-hop community as the GOAT producer. He has sold over 25 million records globally. But with that much success comes being a perfectionist.

Tony Yayo Says That Dipset Has Unreleased Records With Dr. Dre

Dre has worked with some of the biggest acts in hip-hop history. Snoop Dogg, Tupac, and Eminem are just a few of the artists that he has worked with. But according to former G-Unit member Tony Yayo, he has worked with even more artists than the ones listed in his discography, such as the Diplomats. But Yayo says that because Dre is so “picky” about his craft, those records won’t ever be released.

“Dr. Dre is just a real picky mo*********r. He did records with Dipset and that s**t ain’t never come out,” Yayo said during a recent appearance on Club Shay Shay.

Yayo also added:

“He did records with certain people and they never coming out. But he’s like a real particular n***a. I remember he used to tell 50 to do one line over and over again. ‘Do it over, say it like this.’ And I understood sometimes it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. Dre is a f*****g perfectionist. That was an experience.”

The Diplomats are one of the most celebrated rap groups of all time. But to say the relationship has been toxic would be an understatement. Most recently, former members Cam’ron and Jim Jones had a difference of opinion after Killa hosted rap star 50 Cent on his Talk With Flee podcast.

Their feud has simmered down since the initial disagreement. But Cam’ron doesn’t foresee a reconciliation coming between the two of them. Noting that over the years, their relationship has seen more bad days than good ones.

“The reunions and arguments and fighting, it’s been 15 years. The run was only seven years. We have had 15 years of disputes longer than the run,” Cam’ron said during a recent appearance on Memphis Bleek’s Roc Solid podcast.

“I’m never going to say never. But at the end of the day, the dispute is 15 years old, and the run was seven years old. I don’t know if it can ever go right, you know? He got records dissing me earlier this year. I don’t really pay it any mind; people send it to me. But he put a song out called ‘Frienemies’ in [2009]. 17 years of diss records towards me. I don’t give a f**k.”
