Famous Dex Calls Out Rich The Kid For ‘Scam’
However, despite the success that Famous Dex and Rich The Kid enjoyed, everything was apparently not as smooth as it appeared between the two rap stars. In a video posted to his social media account on Tuesday (November 4), he accused him of scamming him out of money. Claiming he was never paid for their collaborative mixtape, Rich Forever 5.
“All you’ve been doing is scam, bro,” Dex said in the video. “Where’s my money from Rich Forever 5? Where? Where is my money at? You think I didn’t save the texts and send some to my lawyer. That’s so unfair. Me, you, and Jay Critch. We were the sh*t”
Dex seemed genuinely hurt by being allegedly scammed by Rich. Noting that he “never” thought he would have to post such a video. But his onslaught did not just stop with scamming accusations. He also threatened to beat up the rappers the next time he sees them.
“I never thought I would make a video like this,” Dex added. “He changed my life. I salute him, I love him for that. But, bro, all this sh*t you done done since 2016. On my mom’s grave, Rich, when I see you, I’m beating your a*s.”
However, despite the accusations, fans did not seem to be moved by Rich The Kid’s statements.
“Yooo, I’ve never been able to take this dude seriously,” one fan wrote in the comments section of the Instagram post.
“How about Dex stays sober? That’s a fight I’d like to see,” another user added.
“Bro needs to go to rehab,” a third user said.
Rich The Kid has yet to respond to Dex’s accusations.
