Ms. Lauryn Hill is redefining what it means to go on tour. Her newly announced “Artist In Residence” series won’t be a “regular concert.” Instead, it’s a groundbreaking hybrid experience — part live performance, part traveling studio — where Hill and her band will perform selections from her legendary catalog while also creating and unveiling unreleased material in real time for live capture.
The tour spans eight cities across Canada, offering fans not just a concert, but a window into Hill’s creative process — an intimate opportunity to witness one of music’s most revered artists crafting new art before their eyes.
But “Artist In Residence” is more than music. True to Hill’s lifelong commitment to social consciousness and global betterment, the tour will directly fund impact-driven initiatives. A portion of ticket sales will support storm relief efforts in Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa, as well as organizations throughout Canada dedicated to uplifting communities through education, housing, substance abuse recovery, small business support, athletics, the arts, and mental health services.
“This isn’t just a tour — this is impact, live.”
Hill is encouraging fans to not only attend but to engage, learn, and contribute directly to the causes she’s uplifting.
