Adam 22 Recalls Time That Jim Jones Had Blood Gang Members Press Him in NYC

Videos by According2HipHop

Jim Jones will usually stand on business when it comes to beef. And No Jumper Podcast host, Adam 22, recently learned this the hard way.

Adam 22 Recalls Situation With Jim Jones’ Goons

During a recent episode of the podcast, the media personality recalled a time when Jim Jones had gang members check his temperature when he recently visited the rap star’s hometown of New York City.

“When I was in New York most recently, I went to the Bronx and filmed this vlog with a bunch of Bloods shooting a music video up in the Bronx,” Adam 22 recalled. “Everybody’s got the red rags on, it’s like ‘Gummo’ part two. And the next day, Jim Jones has some random dudes waiting outside my hotel and sh*t.”

Adam 22 said that one of the “random dudes” pretended to be a fan asking for a picture. But everyone who was with him quickly realized he wasn’t a fan, and that’s when the energy shifted.

“One of them came over and took a picture with me acting like a fan, but everybody I was with peeped the energy that we could tell this wasn’t that,” he continued. “They didn’t do anything, but it was like Jim Jones still being on his weird intimidation program. […] He really wanted to let me know you can’t come out here and hang out with a bunch of Bloods in the Bronx without getting permission from me.”

Why is Jim Beefing With Max B?

Adam 22 isn’t the only person that Jim Jones has an issue with these days. His longtime feud with Max B has also been rehashed. The Harlem rap artist was released from federal prison on November 9 after a 16-year bid.

Jim Jones and Max B have had a long-standing feud dating back to the early 2000s. After Max B left Jones’ Byrd Gang music label over a money dispute. But things really escalated after Max dropped the song “Touched it in Miami,” a diss track where he insinuated that he had slept with Jim Jones’ long-time girlfriend and current fiancée, Chrissy Lampkin.

However, despite their longtime rivalry, Max B wants to keep the peace.

“Jim done wished me dead, all type of sh*t,” Max said. “It’s all good. Listen, man. It’s love, man. I want to start over. I’m a new man. I’m a married man. I got four kids. Like, I’m on a whole different time right now, my n***a, I’m out here to get my money and ride out the sunset with this sh*t. It’s in there for me, though. I’m going to tell you that. So that’s the goal.”
